We distributed masks to 1,54,000 frontline workers from these districts such as Police, Sanitation workers, ASHA workers, Health workers and others.

Educational continuity program

for students impacted by school closure. With support from Education Above All(EAA) and other organisations we ran an educational continuity program for rural students from Beed district of Maharashtra. With this initiative we were able to reach out to 3200 students.

Library on Wheels

Considering the complete closure of schools for consecutive two years of pandemic. There is fear of rural students going out of mainstream education. GramUrja foundation has started a campaign of setting up libraries in 30 villages from rural Maharashtra. We have been getting books from Pratham books for the libraries and with these libraries we can keep our students engaged during this pandemic.

Oxygen concentrator distribution initiative

Most deaths in rural Maharashtra have been happening due to lack of infrastructural facilities or high demand for oxygen and beds. Considering this we have been running an initiative of distribution of portable Oxygen concentrators to patients in need to save their critical hours. With support from Vibha NGO, US we are able to procure 5 concentrators as of now and are also trying to reach out to other donors.

PPE distribution

Considering high demand for PPEs in COVID care centres and government hospitals, medical and other staff working directly with COVID patients, we are planning to distribute 150 PPE Kits. Supported by ClothesBox Foundation.

Dry ration distribution

To migrant workers, daily wage laborers and families which are nomadic community people who got affected due to COVID. With support from organisations like Tech Mahindra and individual donors we have been running support initiatives for such families who are struggling to get access to ration or wages. Till date we have been able to serve 1450 families with such support.

ChatBot for all information

We have been working on developing a chatbot in regional language for easy access of information for the patients. In collaboration with district administration we have been working on updating the data on a real time basis for bed availability, vaccine availability, plasma donors and all.
